I started the movie review post that appears a couple of items down on New Year's Eve, but didn't finish it until just a few minutes ago, and yet it still got marked as if I'd posted it Sunday.
I'm tellin' ya, I just don't get these darn newfangled machine thingies.

Okay, go to Blogger's edit window. You see at the bottom where it has a little > arrow and says "Post and Comment Options"? If you open that, it lets you set the date and time of your post. The default is to set the date and time for when you first started writing and saving the post. I think most computer-oriented stuff does this, it starts "recording" when you start saving something.
I think Blogger is wrong and I am constantly having to alter the dates/times on my items. It should default to the first time you Publish and to do otherwise is just plain wrong.
If I spend 10 years writing a book you wouldn't say it was published 10 years before the first printed copy was available. Blogger is just plain wrong and they ought to change it for give us a way to default to "First Published."
