New York State of Mind

Well, the lovely wife reminds me that I ought to let all and sundry know that I'm going to be one of the guests this coming weekend at the New York Comic-Con, to be held at the Jacob Javits Center in lively but frigid NYC. Rumor has it I'll be signing the new Flash Gordon 75th Anniversary Special from Ardden Publishing at their booth on Friday and Saturday, and signing my three latest books from DC (Final Crisis Secret Files, Superman/Batman Annual #3, JLA #29) among others, at the DC Booth at various times during the weekend. Beyond that, I'll be on a few panels (check schedule for details) and I'll be available at my own table most of the rest of the time to sign pretty much anything else you've got (within reason).

So come on by, say howdy, and let me know you heard about it all at this here blog. I'll be looking for you.

Hi Wein,

I really need your help here, I need to prove a point to a friend of mine.I need to know if storm controls or command the weather? I know it sounds like a silly question but it is very important for me. This friend of mine does not like storm characters but he is trying to tell me that she commands the weather and not controls it in another words she has to say what she wants in order for it to happen and not just think about it for it to take place. Now mind you this friend of mine is 25 and has been following x-men and seems not to understand the whole concept around the whole series. He is basing the whole concept on the first animated series...so please could you help me out.
Storm is my favorite character in the whole x-men I may not have followed the comics but I have read the whole story line behind it and I love it I don't know how to express about it. So I would really appreciate your help with this...
Please if you can email me at my address renatto_7@yahoo.com.

Thank you very much
I hope to hear from you soon..
