Mr. Wein, I just read about your house fire online, and I'm very sorry to hear about it, and about the loss of your dog. That's a horrible thing to have to deal with, as I know, having gone through it when I was younger. My best to you and yours in getting through this difficult time.
I just wanted to let you know and your family know that you are in our thoughts. I'm relieved everyone is all right, and my commiseration on the loss of Sheba.
It is impossible to grow up in the Seventies reading comics, and NOT know of your work. Stay strong. Courage.
My name is Tony Reed and I'm a reporter with The Jackson Sun in Jackson, Tenn.
I'm writing an article that is running in our newspaper Friday about fans of Wolverine. The article coincides with the nation-wide release of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
I wanted to request an interview with you about what's it's to be the co-creator of Wolverine and why you think so many people are fans of the character.
Feel free to reach me by e-mail ttreed@jacksonsun.com or call me at 731-425-9758.
The article will run in Friday's paper.
If you are not able to do the interview, it is okay.
Thanks in adavance,

Gee, Len, you really need to check your blog once in a while. Better yet, post something. What it was like going to the Wolverine Premier would be a great place to start. Or maybe let people know about the interview you did with Chris Claremont today and where they can catch it. Or how things are going now that we've moved into the rental and the ducks have taken over our swimming pool.
Greg Lamberson in Buffalo here - just checking to see if you had a chance to look at my werewolf novel THE FRENZY WAY for blurb consideration; I e-mailed it a second time after you said you didn't think you'd received it the first time around.
Also, my publisher, Medallion Press, is apparently willing to send ARCs to people for blurbs, so if you haven't read it, and want to send me an address, I can arrange to have one sent to you as soon as they're ready.
I see you're going to be a guest at Rue Morgue's Festival of Fear - great, huge show. Medallion's taking me there for the second year in a row to promote my novels, this time one called PERSONAL DEMONS.

And not a mutated wolverine in sight!
I hope Herb Trimpe is getting something out of this.
Looks way cool, you and Herb should get VIP treatment at the premiere! Did you guys get cameos in the movie like Stan Lee does?
"Ooo, shiny" is right - in the Firefly sense of the word, as well as Creed's.
