Science Stumbles On...

This is a test of the Emergency Luddite System. If I have followed the instructions of the ever-incredible Elayne Riggs (a link to whose always-entertaining blog can be found to the right), I will now be able to add bold words, italics, and other suchlike to my posts.

If this worked, you will now be able to see those things on this post. If not, so what else is new?

Congratulations - Elayne is a genius at these sort of things... I have been assisted in html confusion by her before. The other confusion is entirely of my own making.

This is really weird. I'm so totally NOT a genius at these things. That would be Laura Gjovaag. :)

Nope nope! Elayne, Len followed your instructions, so you get the credit! And now you know how I feel when you say I'm a genius at these things!

Actually, I think you're ALL geniuses, certainly compared to me. Now could someone please explain why I now have a smiling monkey face icon at the bottom of my screen?

You got me there.

Actually, I've since discovered that the monkey face is an icon for something called Greasemonkey, which is apparently lubing my blogsite even as we speak.

Greasemonkey seems to be most useful in posting to forums such as Delphiforums.com, allowing me to post fully-featured posts without having to indulge in HTML hand-coding unless it's either extremely simple coding, or cleaning up a horrific mess in progress.

At any rate, I'm glad I have it on Firefox.

And everything's working just fine here, Len!
